Federally mandated data collection:

 

The US Department of Education, National Center for Educational Statistics (NCES), each year gathers a large amount of data from all post secondary educational institutions using the survey system IPEDS, (the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System).

 

Department of Labor Inflation Calculator (converts buying power up to $10,000 for 1913 to present)

   

IPEDS/COOL/Washington and Lee is a condensed report of that data designed for use by prospective students and their parents. This report is more than one page.  Don't miss the links below the masthead.   IPEDS College Opportunities On-line (COOL) connects to parallel data from other post secondary institutions in the US.

 

The IPEDS Peer Analysis System allows Institutional Researchers the ability to define a peer group and create a report comparing those institutions.
